Rainy Day

Saturday evening brought thunder and heavy rain to Selma and Dallas County. Here's the view heading into Selma from Alabama Highway 14 East.

Such a wide open view. Looks like you could drive on forever.

Oh, I am so glad that y'all got rain! That means that our corn, sorghum, and pine trees won't die! And that is the way that we come into town from the farm!

Nikki, We have gotten LOTS of rain this past week! On Friday alone, we had at least four different downpours, then another Saturday, plus others earlier in the week. This week should be a bit drier!

I wish that this was a more familiar scene here in St. Paul where we've gotten some rain but not nearly enough! Enjoy it! Noticed the spray from the car...nice capture.

We've had plenty of rain here too! What an unusual Alabama summer.
Loved your theme day post!

I truly like to drive in the rain on a sunny day. It is not that unusual. I like your photo because it reminds me of those times. Nice post.

You mean to say you were talking on your cell, texting, too, and taking a picture? All while driving?

Wow! Talk about multi-tasking!

Great shot, too!

Or maybe none of that's true and I'm all wet?

Haha, Jacob! Of course I wasn't doing all that while it was raining! Actually, I was the passenger. My husband was driving.

I knew that!
