Downpour!

Selma experienced yet another downpour Thursday, and here is the view of the barely visible Pettus Bridge and Alabama River at Diego's Restaurant.

Except for a bit of green in the landscape, you might think this is a black and white photo, but alas, it's in color!

You didn't need the rain? I think your photo is just wonderful. Doth look like a b&w, though!

We had the same phenomenon yesterday. All of a sudden there was a rumble, the sky turned black and it started to pour.

Oof. I wouldn't even bother going out in that weather! But I do like your photo — I think you caught the experience very well.

That's a cool misty looking photo...nothing like a good summer rain...

yes, we have actually been getting rain lately! Seems unusual after our deficiency the last couple of years!

Looks like you got it good. Send some of it east, we could use some.

This is what I come to Skywatch to see, the rain we do not have in So California. Thank you!

Indeed this does look almost like a monochrome. Don't you wish you could share some of that rain with some drought-stricken area? The weather has been weird lately.
