I was out taking butterfly sculpture pictures when these colorful flowers drew my attention. Then, I noticed the curled-up cat on the steps. Kitty was sleeping so soundly in the morning sun that she never knew I was there.
I would love to relax on that porch for a while! This home looks so inviting and friendly. The cat looks so relaxed, and I can just imagine the warmth of the sun shining down! I love this photo!
Glad y'all like the cat. I, too, think sleeping cats at homes or businesses lend a homey, welcoming atmosphere. If the cat's content, the folks must be too!

It also looks like a good place "to sit a spell." Kitty has the right idea. Humans aren't the only ones who like to sunbathe!

There is nothing more inviting to me than to walk in a house or business and find a kitty sleeping. So of course I love this shot!

I usually see the cat on the steps right as I am putting my foot down to go down the steps.
The kitty certainly does look relaxed! Wish I could be more like that...well, maybe not on my doorsteps though. ;-)
