The sky over Selma matched the steel gray trusses of the Edmund Pettus Bridge last Saturday during Riverfront Market Day. But, there was no rain in sight, and the slightly cool breeze persuaded the crowds to get outside. My camera caught this youngster enjoying the river scenery shortly after he finished a picnic lunch.

I wonder what the litle boy is thinking.
Oh I love this shot!!
I really like this photo, too! It's nice to have a picnic lunch along the water. That bridge is cool!
I like it! Seeing the little boy facing away just adds to it. I learned that seeing a face doesn't always make a photo. Sometimes, the mystery of what the person is thinking is better :)
Thanks for the comments!
This is not just a shot! A very story-telling shot! Great job! Great Skywatch!
Steven^^
I like the way you photographed the bridge and sky. The bridge's curve is lovely. Happy Sky Watch!
What a pretty photo. Very well-composed!
Love this shot - but I'm a sucker for bridges anyway. Nicely captured! Happy SWF~ (www.reluctantfarmchik.com)
I love bridge pictures and this one is so pretty! The little boy really adds to the picture.
I like the lines in this image - the bridge lines, the fence lines.
The little guy looks content to sit there and just gaze at the bridge and water.
Nice capture!
What a great shot. If you hadn't mentioned the little boy I would have never enlarged the pic because I saw no boy. all the stuff on the side cuts the picture in half for me. Weird, huh. MB
That is a neat shot of the gray bridge into the sky.
That's a great Skywatch! Nicely done!
Cheers, Klaus
I see some very interesting architecture on skywatch. Nice photo, unusual.

That's a heck of a bridge & I know what you mean about the skies - they've been looking the same around here - I'm mostly glad that all the HOT weather is gone!!!
Great photo. It has a nice feel to it.
Cheers
Having that youngster in your photo just makes it in my opinion!
What a lovely shot. The bridge and the boy added drama to this shot. awesome swf!
I love this! glad you got the kid in the picture. :)
I like this view, I think you've used it before and I love it.
Now there's a meditation shot if ever I saw one. He's obviously far away in his own dream world, and is there a better place to be? Great shot, The little boy counterbalances the steel work to perfection.
I'm in line with loving this photo too! Have a great weekend!
love it... wonderful SWF shot!
Neat scene, with the myriad designs....and the cute little guy watching! Greetings from Iowa.
