Six More Weeks of Winter!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
Selma doesn't have groundhogs, but it does have cats, and this feline prognosticator saw her shadow today. Like Puxatawny Phil predicted in Pennsylvania, we will have six more weeks of winter before Spring!

PERFECT! Much better than a rodent with dirty and bugs. A lovely weather cat. I think you need to develop this idea so that she is nationally recognized as THE spring forecaster.

Thanks to Hyde DP about the link to nowhere!

Well, my cat might be wrong! It will be spring weather here this week with temps up in the 70s and possible severe thunderstorms. BUT! Thunder in February means snow in April! Against all odds, that HAS happened!

I don't know how the sun being out correlates to having 6 more weeks of winter! Cute kitty though.
