Do cats really have nine lives? You decide.
Here is Miss Kitty, who passed away almost three years ago after spending eight years at our house. Unfortunately, her curiosity about what was cooking on a smoker riled another animal who was bigger and badder than she, and she met an untimely demise.
Now, check out the Cheryl's new cat on Phoenix Daily Photo. At first, I thought Miss Kitty had found another life! But they don't have the same eyes...
Beautiful cats...both of them.

Your poor Miss Kitty certainly was beautiful...was it a dog that killed her? :(
Oh... I'm sorry for that. It was a really beautiful cat...
Yes, your Miss Kitty had an air of beauty about her. Glad that you didn't tell the WHOLE story with details about her untimely demise.
Yes, they do look similar. She looked a lovely cat.
What a beauty she was!
Yes, thanks for not divulging too much about her untimely death...
Wow, they do look alike. I'm sure that your Miss Kitty was a wonderful companion, and she was very beautiful.
Our Miss Daisy was preceded by another dog named Goldie. She also "found us" and we had her for 4 years before she died from cancer. We decided to wait a bit to get another do, until we found the "right one", etc. About 4 months after Goldie's death, Daisy found my younger son. We were amazed by how much Daisy both looked and acted like Goldie, and we still feel like Goldie brought Daisy to us.
The cats do look alike. Sorry you dont have Miss Kitty any longer.
She was a beautiful cat, and it is obvious from your photo that she had some SASS!
Nice photo. Captured that quality about cats most don't understand. Not even me. Nice photo.
un très beau chat, il me rappelle mon ancien chat. tu as réussis un beau portrait
A beautiful cat, it reminds me of my old cat. You have a beautiful portrait successful
oh yeah! they look the same, i actually thought this is a repost or the blog wasnt updated, didnt look at the name of the blog, not until i read the story here that i realized its different
I think Miss Kitty was reincarnated.
And, I agree with Kate. . .glad I don't know the whole story.
Poor Miss Kitty. :( She looked like a cat with a lot of character.
Thanks for your comments and words of sympathy for our Miss Kitty. She really deserved a more sophisticated name, but sometimes we called her "Nurse Kitty," because if anybody was sick, she would curl up right by them or frequently check on them. I think in this photo, she is trying to appear regal or even intimidating...thinking that perhaps this was the photo that might end up on the worldwide web someday! For a really large cat, she had a really teeny tiny meow.
After she was gone, our black and white was restless for months and meowed constantly. So we finally got him a kitten last summer, which he adores. Then, our "Trick or Treat" cat adopted us. So we have three cats now!
That eyes....
They do resemble each other. But your Miss Kitty was prettier.
Or, if the other one is Miss Kitty in another life, she has had a tougher time of it, since leaving your abode. Look at that damaged ear and eye. Poor thing.
'Miss Mari-Nanci'
Miss Kitty was very beautiful! Sorry about your loss... Sure, both are very similar!
Poor kitty. What a beautiful cat she was!
