The golden glow behind these dark clouds is deceptive. At sunrise, storm clouds began moving in prior to a severe weather outbreak around noon. Dallas County was under tornado warnings for the next few hours, and two homes were destroyed in the Summerfield community just a few miles north of our house. Another seven homes received damage as well as an auto body shop.

Tornados are tremendous forces that wreck things really fast. We have had a few and fortunately none hit our home.
A lovely photo of a beautiful sky. Sorry to hear it portended bad storms and damage. :-(
Nice shades.
Regarding the storms, I hope that your walls are strongly set in the ground.
What a gorgeous shot! You have had some very crazy weather this winter - here's hoping for some quiet!
Beautiful colors, but sort of creepy looking sky.
Well here in the UK we do have sunsets like this, but not the severe weather. I would like to see a tornado, but think I would regret getting what I wished for!
Anyway, great picture.
