Down Under

At the corner of Water and Broad, take the Songs of Selma Park steps
down under the bridge. There is a beautiful terrace overlooking the river,
and you will be standing beneath crepe myrtle branches,  an assortment of vines
and even a few clumps of four-o-clocks.

Retreat

Isn't this a tempting spot?

I was tempted to put down my camera, take a seat amid the roses and enjoy the view of the river and the bridge. Had a cup of coffee and a newspaper been handed to me, I would have!

Two years ago, the terrace looked like this.

Homegrown Tomatoes

Nothin' beats homegrown tomatoes in the summertime!
I spotted these little tomatoes ripening in cages just outside the St. James Hotel terrace.
