All those April showers have brought May flowers, including these
pretty purple ones in an Old Town alley.
Thanks to guest photographer Christine Weerts

Cascade
Purple blossoms cascade across this privacy fence in Old Town,
and the blue sky sure looks a lot like October rather than August.

Under Purple Blossoms
Even on a damp day, this spot on the terrace behind
the St. James Hotel is mighty inviting!

Petals of Purple
I see these purple flowers all over town and assume they grow wild. They don't seem to be "manicured" and are usually growing among honeysuckle vines or sidewalks and alleys that haven't met The Weed Eater yet. Does anyone know what they are?
