Pink Crape Myrtle

It finally rained! Not much...but enough to cause the crape myrtle branches to droop a bit. These medium-pink blossoms are nearing full bloom. The deep pink blossoms on our other bush will bloom in July.
Have a good weekend!

I love crape myrtles. Alway a fight in the family, though, about whether you're supposed to cut them back.

Thank you all for visiting.
Steve, about whether or not to cut crape myrtle back. Go ahead! We cut this one to the ground years ago when our oak shaded it out. We didn't dream it would come back, but it did, then flourished after we had to cut the oak down.
