Skywatch Friday (Looking Up for the Weekend)

Skies are cloudy at the moment and will usher in heavy rain today for a weekend that is expected to bring blue skies and cooler weather. Can you remember what it's like to feel temps in the 80s with a cooling northwest breeze?

This Skywatch photo was taken recently along Lauderdale Street. You are walking beside the Performing Arts Centre toward St. Paul's Episcopal Church on a typical summer day full of fluffy clouds above.

Lovely view! Looks like a great day for a stroll down the street....depending on the temperature.

My eyes are drwn down the bric sidewalk to the man. Great composition!

B?TW, the bridge at the top of your page looks very much like the bridge over Yaquina Bay in Newport, Oregon...probably built in the same era?

That's a beautiful sky. We've been getting some rain down here. I'm glad for the break from the heat!

No, re: temperatures. We went to the Orlando area today and it was 100 degrees coming home!

Nice composition!

Even your sidewalks are lovely! So wide and paved with bricks and stone tiles.

Yeah, I like the brick foreground with the brick on the wall. And the red, well, it is very popular these days! - So glad that y'all got to enjoy a break from the heat and humidity!
