Future Home of Arts Revive

An old auto service building at the foot of Water Avenue is undergoing a transformation into an art center.

Perched on the bank of the Alabama River, the building will some day serve as a place for workshops and galleries with outdoor areas for inspirational views.

See the exterior plan HERE.

It is good news when cities can refurbish old buildings and get more use and taxes out of them.

Oh, Janet! How awesome! Artists are going to be the ones who bring Selma back to life!

That's great that such a cool building is getting a new lease on life. pun intended! We recently had a radiator shop downtown to be renovated into an Irish pub.
