Come smell the cornbread cookin'
at the Kenan's Mill Bluegrass Festival
November 3. The old mill near town
will be grinding cornmeal once
that day, and visitors can listen to a
bluegrass band, take a wagon ride,
cross the swinging bridge over the creek or...
eat cornbread along with other food fare.
This photo shows the official T-shirt for the festival.

My granddaughter and I were at a restuarant the other day, where a couple of guys were playing guitar and harmonica - and singing the blues. Granddaughter (4 years old) asked me "why are they sad?" I smiled and told here they aren't, they are just singing sad songs.
If you go to the festival - hope you have a great time, and some yummy cornbread.
