View from the Riverwalk (Scenic Sunday)

From the wooden bridge along the riverwalk, hikers get to see the Alabama River, Edmund Pettus Bridge, Bridge Tender's Cottage, St. James Hotel, old brick warehouses and Water Avenue businesses. While much work still remains, we have a walkable trail, and the fence is going up!

The Bridge is In

Selma's riverwalk now has a wooden bridge, and concrete sidewalks have  been poured all the way from Lafayette Park to the Old Depot Museum. So, it 's progress we can soon walk on!

Riverwalk Construction

Construction has finally begun on a portion of the riverwalk for Selma's Riverfront Park. The sidewalk begins at the steps on Grumbles Alley.
