And the Drought Goes On

The colors, they are a'changin' early this year but not without a quick wilt!

As soon as the ginkgo leaves turn from green to gold, they crumple!
 And that is no thanks to this extended heat and drought!
 James Spann says the drought may break by mid-November,
 and cooler air is on the way.

It was a very dry summer here as well. We've had some rain since, but it still hasn't brought the water levels up to where they ought to be.

It is a nearly perfect image. There is a severe drought up in New England, too, and this is usually an area with plenty of water.
