Sailing

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are favorite vacation destinations for many Selmians, and I think this photo explains why!

A trip to the beach only takes three-four hours, and while there last weekend, we saw at least a half dozen other people from our hometown.

What an idyllic scene. I can imagine myself in it.

Such lovely blue! So peaceful, too.

Beautiful blue water. Let's hope it stays that way . . .

Bfarr, I don't go to the beach that often, but for what it's worth, this is the clearest that I've ever seen the water here. It was also plenty warm for swimming.

I sure hope the beach continues to look like this in the weeks and months ahead.

I'm glad to see there's no oil down there... yet! We're headed to Key West this weekend. Hopefully our summer plans will also include a trip to gulf shores. It is so beautiful down there!

It's beautiful! I love the Gulf Coast. I'm praying the oil doesn't ruin it.

Nice scene. Looks like the woman sitting on a stool down at the beach has her eyes on you.
