Ye Olde Gasoline Pump

Oh to find six gallons of gasoline for slightly more than $1!
I wonder just how old this pump is! Notice that the fuel contains the dreaded lead!
Anyway, it makes some great vintage yard art
and stands along a street in rural Dallas County.

No doubt people across the country would line up for gas that cheap! Neat picture, and thanks for linking up w/ Rural Thursday today!

It is like a gas pump from a fairytale! A dream come true! - I remember being irritable when gas got dangerously close to being $1 a gallon and I was almost apoplectic when it went to $1.13. Now I am tempted to go back to moon-shining just so I'll have something to put in the tank. LOL!

What a cool blast from the past!!!! I do remember gas being 50cents a gallon. Great shot!

Don't we wish that we would be able to buy gas at this price. Love the photo.

I wonder how many times Mike & Frank from American Pickers have stopped by that place to try to buy that pump. Love the shot.

Charade, I bet they don't even know it's there! But I's sure they would be interested.
