Petal Pushers Produce

The Farmers Market at Bloch Park is OPEN, and here are a few things
that Petal Pushers Farm had available this morning:
squash, homemade breads, herbs, red potatoes, jams and jellies.

The business is located in Valley Grande off Alabama Highway 22 North
where there is a store with home-baked goods, plants and a U-Pick orchard.

Locally Grown

I finally made it to the Selma-Dallas County Farmers' Market the other day
and BEFORE everything had sold! The peas and corn were already gone,
but there were plenty of peaches, squash, okra, peppers, tomatoes and potatoes.
Today, the market will be full of vendors for its annual Market Day,
and gift baskets of produce, flowers and more will be given away
every 15 minutes until noon.

Fresh Veggies Coming Soon

It's almost time for the local Farmers Market to open!

Located in Bloch Park, the shed will soon shelter truck farmers who bring peaches,
corn, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, peas, potatoes and much more.
I'm just hoping their gardens got a better start than mine. We are re-planting
a few things due to an unusually cold ground this spring.
