St. Paul's on Pilgrimage

Selma's St. Paul's Episcopal Church has a long and interesting history
that includes the 1865 Battle of Selma, Civil War generals,
seminarian and civil rights activist Jonathan Daniels,
 Tiffany stained glass
and bricks from Alabama's first capital at Cahawba.

The church will be open for tour during next month's Historic Selma Pilgrimage.

The Southern Belle Dash!

Junior Hostesses who will help out at this year's Historic Selma Pilgrimage met at Sturdivant Hall yesterday for a publicity photo shoot, After pictures were made, I caught a couple of them running across the lawn. Then, when I uploaded this picture, I had to laugh when I saw the footwear for the girl in the foreground! (Click the photo for a larger view.)
