Prairie Buttercups and Partly Cloudy

That dark cloud is just pretending it wants to rain,
because it was a perfect weather day in the Black Belt prairies
of west Dallas County. Those yellow wildflowers are
prairie buttercups, and they can be spectacular
when covering an entire field.

beautiful! over the weekend i was at walmart when a big thunderstorm hit...the lights flickered and the rain was pounding, we could hear it from inside the store...it must have went on like that for a half hour...well i live about 5 miles from walmart and when i got home, my street was dry as a bone! crazy! my husband said he could hear all the thunder but the storm never came to our house! i'm kind of glad i was in it because it washed all the pollen off my car :)
