A White Christmas?

Merry Christmas! Parts of Central Alabama may have an historic white Christmas today, and while our area should get some snowflakes, it's not too likely they will stick. This photo of the snow-sprinkled holly was taken in my yard a few years ago.

Today, we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Peace on Earth, goodwill to all.

I hope you enjoy the novelty of some snow and then that it melts quickly away. Those of us up north are expecting a heavy snowfall today, but we are better prepared for it than are Alabamans.

Thanks, and Merry Christmas! Just a few light flurries here and more expected this afternoon. But further north, there are lots of icing problems on the roads and bridges.

Here in Yorkshire we have had very early snowfall and record breaking low temperatures.
Have a Merry Christmas. Paul at Leeds daily photo
