As the saying goes: "Birds of a feather flock together," and that sure was true of these little birds.
Against a cloudy-bright sky, they were enjoying the scarlet-leafed and berry-laden shrubs next to the Old Depot Museum this week. While I only see two in the photo, many more flew away just before the picture was snapped.
Anybody know what kind of birds these are? They were smaller than they appear here.

They're sitting in crape myrtles I think and they look like sparrows to me but I'm no expert on either front. I like this, I guess birds of a feather...

Sparrows?

I think they are sparrows. I love the way the foreground is out of focus, focusing the eye on the birds.

What I want to know is what kind of bush is that? Love those leaves.
Regarding the birds, I think they are house sparrows but not sure. Try googling that term followed by clicking on images and see if you think I am right.
