Greening Up

Everything is greening up, even the dogwood blooms that open green and soon turn white. These blooms branch out from a web of Spanish Moss.

Thanks to warm temperatures and recent wet weather, spring is a little earlier this year.

I'm ready for it too. I'm missing my dogwoods. I don't have any here in this yard. Odd because my neighbor has several, and this house was owned by her ex mother in law so I'd think they'd have done some of the same plantings, or if her trees are natural, you'd think I'd have some too...sigh...guess I'll have to buy one. But funny, I did try to plant one in Georgia and killed it and the ones that have grown naturally in the backyard thrived.

It's graet to see these signs of spring.

I love the south in the spring when the azaleas and dogwood bloom. It won't be long!

It really is spring. Not one we get here.
