Relieve Fatigue: 5 Cents

Here's the entire "Drink Coca-Cola" mural downtown. I posted part of it here last October, but the whole wall art couldn't be seen due to the bushes in front of it. Maybe someone will cut the bushes back before this summer. Notice that around the turn of the century, Coca-cola relieved fatigue for just five cents!
(Oops! the photo cuts off on the right, but it does say that!)

Beautiful mural!

That's when "Coca" Cola actually contained the coca; hence the fatigue relief, lol.

I'm glad my photos brought back memories for you, and I'm sure Fred will be pleased with your comment. Thanks.

They should restor it again too, it is an historical mural. Beautiful by the way!

Very interesting mural. I'm glad they restored it. I think they should put the restoration information somewhere else, though.

I think you did a wonderful job capturing it...and it's very attractive!

It still relieves fatigue even with the coca, don't you think. Truth in advertising there.

Anyway, I usually don't like graffiti but I have always liked the old advertisements half faded away on brick walls like these.

Neat shot. I really like old advertisements on building walls.

Great shot and how nice that the whole mural was in view.

That is so cool that they have restored the advertisment. I'm afraid I use Coke to relieve my fatigue -- the sugar & caff. sure help mid-afternoon! :)

Thanks for your comments. I collect a few Coke memorabilia too...wish I had one of those old, extra cold Coke cooler boxes.
