View from the Red-Brick Path

A narrow, red-brick path leads from the St. James Hotel terrace to the park benches in front of the Bridge Tender's House for a good view of the Pettus Bridge and Alabama River. The red and white stripes are part of the American flag that flies at the bed and breakfast. This photo was taken in early December when there were still a few leaves on the trees.

The perspective you chose for the photo is the tops. I feel like I'm walking up to take a seat on one of the benches, then while away some time watching the river. Great job.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I like very much this red path and the red building too. And the river looks so calm! Beautiful photo!

Every time I visit your blog, I feel nostalgic. I love that part of the US so much. It is so much related to a lot of books I read when I was younger (and not so long ago either).

I love those white houses.... They are so much more beautiful than our concrete houses.

I wish you a very good year 2008.

Why did you feel uncomfortable at seeing my top models ? :-)))

a great view. we still have a few leaves on the ground and on the trees here. I need to rake them up, but looking at other peoples pictures is so much more fun.
