Finding your vehicle behind a log truck is a pretty common occurrence in Selma. I bet this truck is headed to International Paper's Riverdale Plant in East Dallas County. The plant produces paper and is a major employer for our area. In fact, forestry and forest products is our county's largest industry.
Marie from Montpelier Daily Photo made my day when she awarded me the "You Make My Day Award" for bloggers. Thank you, Marie!
"The award rules say: "Give the award to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel happy about blogland. Let them know by posting a comment on their blog so they can pass it on. Beware you may get the award several times."
Okay, narrowing this award down to just 10 bloggers is very difficult. You all make my day most of the time! However, when I checked to see which ones I seem to just "gravitate" to over and over, here is a portion:
Pat at Guelph Daily Photo,
Southern Heart at Memphis Daily Photo
Clarice at St. Malo Daily Photo
American Fork at American Fork Daily Photo
Smilnsigh at Saratoga Springs Daily Photo
Steve Buser at New Orleans Daily Photo
Z at Based in Villigen
Chris at Nashville Daily Photo
Fabrizio at Torino Daily Photo
Jilly at Monte Carlo Daily Photo

I am humbled and honored and not worthy but THRILLED and EXCITED and um hungry.......!!! Thank you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Just one question when it is passed on does the award have to remain in th CDPB world or can it go outside?
You are a lot braver than me. I would not be behind him. I have seen the horror movies.
Clarice, I believe you can give the award to any blogger anywhere.
Jim, I stayed a safe distance back, but it is nearly impossible not to get behind a log truck in Alabama. Alabama is taken from an Indian (Native American) word meaning "big thicket." We have a big forest industry here.
That is nice photo and congratulations on the award.
Now that looks just dangerous to me
Thank you so much for the award, You made my day!! :) and I will post to pass it on tomorrow. I'm glad that you enjoy visiting me, as much as I do you.
We see lots of those trucks when we're on the way to vacation in FL, so those are a happy sight for us. I also love seeing the big pine tree farms...they are quite pretty.
Logging trucks. Those used to be a common site here. But both our mills closed. Its weird not seeing them anymore.
In late but I hope not too late I thank you so much about the award I hope to deserve.
Hugs !!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks so much for the award. I've put it on Monte Carlo Daily Photo today and of course acknowledged you. Dead chuffed!
