Labor Day Rain

An 18-wheeler passes our vehicle as we head into rain clouds on our short Labor Day trip for a family meal. This is U.S. Highway 80 west of Selma. Notice how green the grass is now. It was brown for most of the summer.

So nice to be able to visit tonight. I can't download all the phots but I got a look at your post today. Great photo - you must have been getting blown away doing that!!! You need to be on danger money.

Like the composition with just part of the truck on the left with a vista in the background. Great job!

That's a nice photo of the open road. It makes me want to travel. And rain, beautiful rain, is falling here, now.

Nice perspective - and the sky looks ominous!

Love how you captured the darkening sky! We haven't had any rain over here for a couple of weeks but please don't send it our way! Days are still lovely and warm here, temperatures in the 20s (degrees Celsius) today. Hope your Labor Day was a good one

It's great to see that strip of Highway 80. I've driven it a time or two, heading my then home in Jackson, Mississippi, from parts farther east. Thanks!
