Are the Pure stations the ones that were built in the style of Tudor houses? There was some gas station chain that did that in the 20s and 30s, and there are still a few around here and there.
Hi David, I did not realize that about the gas stations, but check out endangereddurham.blogspot.com. They were built as cottages, but they sure look like Tudor-style cottages to me! Many are now on the historic register. Thanks for mentioning that.
