Toys of Yesteryear

John Deere tractors, steam shovels, a covered wagon, horse and buggies...
I wanted to play with all these toys of yesteryear!

They are arranged on a table inside The Harmony Club
where an antique shop will be opening soon!

I like antique things 'cause I grew up with them. When I was young my folks had rectangular rugs with patterns that I pretended were roads and I'd build houses and drive my cars, trucks and tractors up and down those "roads" for hours.

I would love this antique store!

Good to hear that an antique store is opening. A dealer I know here says items have been moving very slowly for the past several years. Hope you're having a good weekend!

Birdman, that is so neat! Wish we had kept some of ours.

Lowell, we built roads out in the backyard and drove trucks, tractors and model cars on them. Even dug ponds and built dams for our toy boats. The yard had no grass, but at least we played outside all day!
