All Aboard!

All aboard for Train No. 20 from Selma to Birmingham!

Selma's extensive railroad history is displayed in at least a couple of local museums, and this original schedule is at the Old Depot Museum.

Now, I am not sure what is with the Divided We Slither board above it. Anybody know?

How far is it from Birmingham to Selma? We're headed over there this weekend - maybe I'll stop by!

Around here, they tore out the rails, ties and roadbeds several decades ago. Now, they are talking about bringing back a rail system.

Hi Halcyon,
Selma is about 90 miles from south Birmingham, a 1.5 to 2 hour drive depending on traffic. Come on to Selma!
