January Narcissus


Spring?

The narcissus thinks so!

I found two yards with blooming spring flowers today. Last year, I posted a narcissus photo on Feb. 4. Thanks to plenty of rain and warm weather, these popped up a month early.

I think we are headed down below zero or close to it. It snowed all day so no flowers at least until March or April.

Wow, it just seems to early! I'll have to check and see if my daffodils are peeping out yet.

My lime tree is blooming like mad, but I keep it indoors. :)

Very pretty flowers. That reminds me I need to get my bulbs out!

My daffodils are about 2 inches up

Those narcissus are beautiful!I have some that are emerging here in North Alabama,too. They are a more cold hardy type than the tazettas in your picture but I hope the coming arctic freeze doesn't harm them.
