The Big Chill

The Big Chill finally arrived and turned Selma's municipal fountain into ice crystals.

Temperatures plunged into the teens Thursday night with a wind chill of single digits...the coldest night in several years!

Although you can't see it in this photo, there is spring shrubbery blooming near the fountain.

How neat! I've been watching for that sort of thing here in Atlanta.

Pretty frozen fountain! Our low night before last was 7 degrees and then at my sister's, she had a bouquet of flowering quince!

I passed icicles on my walk yesterday but was too far from the car to turn around for my camera. YOur photo is exactly what it feels like here in B'ham. Brrrr. I am ready for unseasonably warm!
