Pettus Bridge in Pasta

More pasta art from Vernon Spicer!
This depiction of the Edmund Pettus Bridge was on display last weekend at the Children's Rehabilitation Center art fair. It looks like a painting, but it is made entirely of painted pasta.

The bright spots near the top are just a reflection of the ceiling lights.

Yes, I do give assertiveness training, but after 30 years in Law Enforcement it may seem a little intense for those not hardened to life. Glad you came by - I hate my cable company too - I now have several new tiers added to my basic package (free for a year) so the CEO won't get anymore calls from me. hee hee Have a great weekend. Pasta . . .I never would have guessed . . . I'll be thinking about penne and shells and elbows in new ways from now on.

This is amazing and must require not only artistic talent but a great deal of patience - neither of which i possess. Thank you for sharing.

It does look like a painting! Glad it hasn't got the tomato sauce on it!

Bet you could even build a baby bridge out of pasta. Come to think of it, the Bridge of Strings here in Jerusalem looks a bit like long spaghetti in the sky. :)
