Painting the Tank

The water tank on Summerfield Road has been under renovation for a long time. Now, the finishing touches are going up. These workers are painting SELMA on the sky-blue background (the prettiest water tank in town)! But they aren't finished yet. When I drove by the next day, a slogan had been added. I'll post that photo on Friday.

You just have to love your work to work way up there. Have a nice weekend.

I also thought it was an alien spaceship landing. But it's pretty impressive as a water tank too. Must hold mega gallons.
Nice slogan too.

Thanks for visiting Selma's newest water tower! Jim, aw, nobody is going to mess up this gorgeous paint job with spray paint!
As for Martians, when they were working on it, there were all kinds of structural stuff around it and it really did look like an alien spacecraft. I should have gotten that photo but didn't.
