Berry House

Known as the Berry House, this historic structure features wrought-iron grillwork that was made in Selma's Foundry. Reminds me of New Orleans.

This is very pretty house...is it a normal house for a family?

Very decorative steel frame. Interesting.

I thought I was in New Orleans - I had to check twice ;-)
Really nice!

I hope those cracks are only superficial and does not affect the stability of the building.

I think I see similar buildings before in Australia.

There is a house near Logan Circle here in DC that looks a lot like this one... and it always reminds me of New Orleans too!

Great picture !
Never seen such a house.
Except that the bricks there are very familiar to us here in Toulouse area but not used like this.

I love that ironwork! It is very reminiscent of New Orleans, and it is also very charming...

That does look like a grand old residence in the French Quarter! Sections of the iron fence surrounding Louisiana's Old State Capitol are now in Alabama for restoration.

My first thought, before I read your text, was that it "Reminds me of New Orleans" :)
