April Theme Day, Pedestrians' Crossing

It's April Theme Day over at the City Daily Photo Blogs, and we're sharing photos
of pedestrian crossings. The sidewalks on the Edmund Pettus Bridge fit the theme
perfectly, and last October, I was photographing Riverfront Market Day
when these Boy Scouts from Prattville made the trek across the bridge.

Makes me wonder where they're off to. Love your choice for the theme.

Hilda, this is an historic bridge that thousands of people come to Selma to cross every year. Thanks for visiting!

They are all nicely lined up looking at something interesting (I espect). Nice photo choice for theme day.

But what's on the other side? Or is it the journey rather than the destination that's important?!

super choice!

Red, the other side of the bridge! It's the journey across the bridge, not the destination that's important. Google Edmund Pettus Bridge. :)

Boy Scouts have the best programs. I'm sure they all learned a great history lesson they will never forget!
