Friends for a Minute

It's rare that we find this pair playing together. But I recently snapped them in a jovial mood by the recliner. Most of the time, one of them harasses the other. Why can't they just get along?

Even here they do look as if they both have special plan for each other. Just wait a little, my dear cat-friend...

We have a couple of females that refuse to be friends. They usually stay away from each other, but occasionally they get together and then the fireworks begin.

bfarr, These are both females too, and they played well together when they were younger. Not anymore!

they can't get along very well because each of them wants to be the boss and n0 one likes to be the follower lol

Lovely shot. I'm sure they started chasing each other soon after

I have four cats, and you never know what one is going to do. It is a mama cat and three of her children...long story there. I originally got two of the kittens...they were very, very close. Always slept together, played well together....just generally loving to each other. Then something happened and I ended up with Mama and another brother...the two new ones did play well together, but so rough someone always ended up mad. And now, they very seldom play, unless it is with us.

Hi Rose, I think that may be the problem between these two. The gray and white one doesn't know how to play gentle, and the calico is very gentle. But then, the gray and white one also keeps our yard clean of moles and mice!
