Garden of Gethsemane

A stained-glass window in the Pew House (which was on this year's Pilgrimage tour) is quite appropriate for Holy Week.

The center panel shows Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane just before his arrest by the Romans. In the prayer, Jesus said, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."

These are nice. I like the stained glass.

I chose a picture I took 55 years ago of my Patty wearing a red dress. On April Fool's Day, April 1, 1955.

I gave her a diamond engagement ring, and today, April 1, 2010 is my entry for theme day on my Brookville Daily Photo blog.

And there is also a tinted red pane which helps mark April Theme Day. Yes, the window is appropriate for Passion Week!
