Prairie Buttercups

Prairie buttercups covered this field along U.S. Highway 80 West
on Easter Sunday. In the distance, you can see the faint lavender color
of redbud trees and the early spring hues of other trees along the skyline.
What a beautiful morning!

Tucked Away

April just keeps on blooming, and I found these wildflowers tucked away beneath some shrubbery and a shade tree in the Old Town Historic District.

Wildflower

These barely blue/purple wildflowers can be found in yards and along curbsides this time of year. I have never known what they are called, but they are much to pretty to mow!
