High Water at the Marina

So, July has been one of the rainiest and coolest that I can remember,
and here we are at the City Marina where the sun is out, the river is up,
and a few fishermen try their luck on the far left bank. We enjoyed
the midday view from the porch of The Sandbar restaurant.

'Tis a lovely spot! And everything so green. We've had lots of rain this summer, too, which keeps things lush and the forest fires down. But then other places in the country are still in drought conditions.

How... You are not lucky with your weather. Here there is so much sun that I fear the axe of the Earth have actually change (I live in Brittany, in France, a place known to be rainy all times of year).

Nice pic.

There is flooding in north Alabama, but the TVA dams alleviate a lot of it.

Neat shot! Cooler July here too. It's raining right now and it's about 30 degrees cooler than yesterday and I'm loving it. :-)
