Super Harvest Moon (Skywatch Friday)

The Super Harvest Moon hasn't been around in about 20 years, but it was spectacular as it introduced the Autumn of 2010.

You've captured a beautiful picture as well. I love that you can see the blue sky as well. I took my photo when the sky had gone black. Nice shot.

We saw that Harvest Moon here, too, but I was just too lazy to get out the tripod. It was very beautiful. And you got a very nice shot!

Nice to hear from you! Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks, Jacob, but credit for the photo goes to my guest photographer, Christine Weerts, who's become a regular fill-in for me.

Love the green of the tree tops, the blue of the sky and the moon.

I only read about this moon afterwards, but guess what, it was cloudy with us that night. You got a superb capture, tho.
