Eastern Tiger Swallowtail

This blog probably has more posts about butterflies than any other subject, but I think you'll enjoy this stunning closeup of an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Selma's official butterfly. This photo is courtesy of Elaine Stewart, who loves to garden and snap pictures out in Valley Grande.

Post away with the butterflies. I see to few in my neck of the woods these days.

I have been looking all summer for a tiger swallowtail to shoot. Well, I see you were way luckier than I have been. :) Nice shot!
