House & Gardens

I have long admired the spring gardens at this house in Old Town. The azaleas are just breathtaking, and I make a point to drive by and see them at their peak.

This time, I noticed that the place is for sale. This circa 1875 home seems to combine quality construction of the past such as interior woodwork and leaded glass windows with modern conveniences such as an elevator.

Azaleas are at peak this week in Selma, but another storm system is coming through Sunday, so get out and tour the town before the blossoms are gone!

Love azaleas...our blooms are about gone, though. Looks like a nice house - probably expensive, though.

I love these well preserved old houses. There is one that I keep my eye...one day it will go up for sale.

Gorgeous house and flowers. I wonder why the owners would sell such a lovely, historic home…

I love azaleas but never have any luck with growing them and I have the same problem with a few other nice plants. I think you got the best photo of them I have seen in a while.

Gorgeous! I came home last night and most of my flowers are gone. I think the rain was pretty hard over here. At least I got a few shots before I left though.
