This garden spider clinches a grasshopper that she caught in her web outside my kitchen window. I recently posted another garden spider that built a web outside the front door. I think this one chose the window, because insects are attracted to the light in our kitchen at night. Her web covers the entire exterior of the window. We just tell everybody that this is our "virtual" Halloween decoration! Anyway, we have enjoyed watching her patch and expand her web, although devouring other bugs is not especially appealing.
