Q is for QUILTS

Q is for QUILTS, and I love the colorful QUILTS made by TwoJean Designs.

She makes all kinds...for the bed, the couch, the wall, the kids,

the table and even inexpensive mini token quilts.

The Selma quilter often sells her creations at crafts shows

and has an Etsy shop online.

Jeanann's Wonderful Quilts of Color

If you have fabric scraps, Jeanann can use them!

Jeanann Syzmanski designs and makes these colorful quilts from scraps

sent to her by friends from many places. This display was part of her booth

at last weekend's World's Widest Yard Sale.

Selma is among the oldest cities in Alabama and has the largest contiguous historic district. It is known for its Civil War and Civil Rights history. The Battle of Selma was one of the last fought in the War Between the States, and the town was a center for the Voting Rights Movement in the 1960s. Today, with a population of about 20,000, Selma is the largest town in the western Black Belt region. The Black Belt, named for the color of its soil, stretches across Central Alabama from Mississippi to Georgia.
