Harvest

H is for HARVEST as in muscadines!

Muscadines are ripening every day, and most are free for the finding.
The vines are prolific, and this summer's rains brought an abundance.

We boiled the juice out of these tasty fruits and got several jars of jelly.
There were more, but we have shared!

I tried making blackberry jam once and ended up with syrup. Tasty experiment though.

I've never heard of them...they look kind of like blueberries, from your picture. What do they taste like?

Alicia, muscadines are the size of and taste like grapes.

I respect anyone who has a garden and
is able to preserve their harvest! I also never tasted muscadines:)

Barbara, we've made syrup instead of jelly before too! But SureJell sure helps!
