Banister

B is for the BANISTER at Dallas Academy. How many hands must
 have held on to this warm wooden rail!

I've never seen the wood turned like that so the grain shows in the beadwork. So beautiful!

That is a gorgeous bannister. I love the whirly circles in the wood. When you spoke of little hands holding on to the bannister all I could think of (as a former teacher) was the copious amounts of germs thereon deposited! :)

This is great wood. The people who carved them really used the grain to advantage, didn't they?
