The Lady Banks Roses

These Lady Banks roses began blooming in March,
but they are usually at peak in early April.

However, due to some late frosts, some may not reach
full bloom for a few more days. These roses are located
in the municipal complex next to City Hall.

Lady Banks Returns

The Lady Banks (or Banksia) roses have returned. These thornless beauties are common all over Selma, and there's a legend to go with them!

Raindrops on Roses

Raindrops on roses are among my favorite things, and right now we are hoping to receive rain to keep summer flowers alive in the extreme July heat.

(This lovely rose is among those in the garden of Selmian Carol Henry.)

The Lady Banksias are Back

The Lady Banksia roses are back in bloom. These dainty, thornless blossoms contrast with the bright, bold azaleas. View more about these roses HERE and HERE.
