First Daffodil

The first daffodils opened in my backyard on Monday, and we saw 
the first robin! Surely, despite this latest round of southern snow,
 sleet and freezing rain, spring cannot be far away!

Last year, the daffodils debuted in late January,
 but it was a much warmer winter.

Ice Cold

Selma's municipal fountain has been ice cold several times this year!

Icicles

Until last week, it had been 21 years since we saw icicles this long,
 and after an extremely cold winter, we hope this little ice age is over!
