Gillman Hall

GILLMAN HALL (circa 1860) is among several lovely Selma homes
that will be featured on the Historic Selma Pilgrimage  this spring.
The GREEK Revival Italianate was constructed with solid brick
and finished with stucco, and the front porch posts were fashioned
from iron at the second owner's company, Selma Ironworks.

 Pilgrimage is March 14-15.

  1. These are nice building, though I admit a certain antebellum weirdness.

  2. Roger, this one was "modernized." The original iron railings and fretwork were removed in the 1930s.

  3. I like the symmetry of this home. I'd love to see what's inside, too!
